Knights invests in new Manchester office to support growth ambitions

Knights plc, one of the UK’s fastest growing regional legal and professional services businesses, today announces that it is investing in a new office in the centre of Manchester, to support the Group’s growth plans in the City.

The decision to invest in a new office in Manchester follows Knights’ acquisition of Turner Parkinson earlier this year, which increased the Group’s presence in the North West of England.

The team in Manchester relocates from Hollins Chambers to the recently refurbished Barbirolli Square. The office meets the needs of Knights’ team culture, working across an open-plan, high-quality environment and has a capacity for 200 colleagues. Knights will expand its employee base in the City through the recruitment of quality individuals and teams to the new office.

As outlined at the time of the Group’s IPO, a key part of Knights’ organic growth strategy is attracting new talent and rolling out new offices in targeted regional locations.  The investment in Manchester follows the Company’s recent acquisition of Spearing Waite, as the Group continues to deliver on the stated strategy set out in the June 2018 admission document.

The address of Knights’ new office in Manchester is: 101 Barbirolli Square, M2 3BG.

Commenting on the office relocation and plans for growth in Manchester, David Beech, CEO at Knights, said: “Manchester is an excellent location from which to grow our presence in the North West. The decision to invest in the City was the natural progression following the acquisition of Turner Parkinson earlier this year and key to our strategy of growing the Knights’ brand organically.”
