We are pleased to announce the appointment of Matthew Smith as a Partner specialising in public law. The appointment is with immediate effect.

With over 20 years’ experience in both contentious and non-contentious public law, Matthew advises a diverse range of clients. As a litigator, Matthew specialises in judicial review and statutory appeals.  He has acted in matters at all levels of the domestic judicial system, and before the European Court of Human Rights.  He has been instructed in a number of the most significant public law inquiries and investigations in recent years – including the Bloody Sunday and the Hutton Inquiries and the Savile investigation.
