The transaction involved the purchase of an actuarial modelling system that is currently used by more than 150 insurers around the world. RNA Analytics plans to develop the product further by introducing it to new territories and enhancing the product/services for existing clients, while also helping them to prepare for IFRS 17, the new accounting standard for the insurance industry.

The Ince & Co team was led by Matthew Stratton (Partner) and Yeon Jing Seong (Of Counsel – Hong Kong) together with assistance from Mehmet Achik-El (Associate), Alex Troop (Trainee) and Mark Robinson (consultant). Rebecca Thornley-Gibson (Partner) also advised on employment matters, whilst Trevor Garrood (Partner) and Michael Sharvin (Managing Associate) advised on real estate aspects.

Matthew Stratton, Ince & Co Partner said “we are delighted to have been able to support RNA Analytics in this strategic deal which will allow them to focus on the innovation and development of market leading software for the insurance industry.”

HS Lee, Managing Director of RNA, said “we are grateful for the support and practical advice provided by Matt and the rest of the Ince & Co team, which enabled us to successfully complete this transaction. We are excited for the opportunities this acquisition will bring to RNA and look forward to working more closely with our clients on their technological and consulting needs.
