BigHand celebrate a week of impressive award wins, accelerating its success in the legal productivity and profitability technology space.

BigHand is delighted to be named the winner of the ‘Supplier of the Year’ Award at the 2020 British Legal Technology Awards, and to be Highly Commended for ‘IT Vendor of the Year’ at the UK IT Industry Awards.

The Annual British Legal Technology Awards acknowledge and reward excellence in Legal Technology and IT Security within the UK and International Legal Sectors, with the Supplier of the Year Award recognising legal suppliers who have demonstrated excellence in legal technology and client focused services both for SME and LME.

The award honours the suppliers which are re-shaping the future of law firms and legal businesses. BigHand’s entry focused on how it has supported its clients over the last 12 months in gaining visibility of vital operational and financial information to make informed business decisions to streamline processes and maximise profitability.

The awards judges commented “BigHand showed great innovation and agility to develop and roll out new product propositions in the midst of the UK COVID lockdown; they could demonstrate significant savings delivered to their client base along with very strong loyalty and NPS performance.”

BigHand also received recognition in the wider IT industry arena last week, taking the Highly Commended prize at the 2020 BCS & Computing UK IT Industry Awards for the ‘IT Vendor of the Year’ category.

The award focused on BigHand’s outstanding performance in terms of market penetration, revenue growth, customer feedback and the launch of innovative new products, as well as recognising its commitment to workplace diversity as well as IT excellence.

The industry honours come at a time of exciting growth for BigHand, having recently announced the addition of Resource Management leader Mason & Cook, in the first acquisition under their new ownership with Levine Leichtman Capital Partners, in a move that further cements BigHand’s position as a leading provider of legal workflow and productivity tools.

Sam Toulson, Chief Executive Officer at BigHand comments, “We are delighted to have won at the British Legal Tech Awards this year, and to be Highly Commended at the UK IT Industry Awards. Our vision at BigHand is to empower the business of law by being the number one most trusted provider of productivity and profitability software solutions for law firms.”

“We understand that, at this time of economic uncertainty, law firms more than ever need access to meaningful real-time data to make informed business decisions and effectively plan for the future. We will continue working hard to deliver this data and insight to our clients and thank them for their on-going support.”
