Verifying Covid-19 Status onsite

Netlaw Media will update this information in-line with government and industry guidance as released.

Netlaw Media has a duty of care and must provide a reasonably practicable safe and healthy environment for all event attendees.

Government regulations are now being lifted and Netlaw Media have put in place preventative measures to help reduce the spread of COVID-19.

In line with the latest guidance from UK Government and the Association of Event Organisers, we have implemented the following protocols which we ask all those in attendance to adhere to, so that we can host our events safely.

Upon arrival at any Netlaw Media event attendees will be spot checked for COVID-19 status (to include visitors, exhibitors, contractors, venue and organiser staff).

All attendees must be prepared to show proof of one of the following:

a) Proof of completion of a full course of vaccination two weeks prior to arrival via the NHS COVID Pass (NB This is different from the NHS COVID-19 Test and Trace app), EU Digital Pass, or equivalent for internationals.

OR

b) Lateral flow or PCR negative test results text or e-mail, received within 72 hours prior to attending the event. We will ask to see the NHS email or text message you received once you reported your result to the NHS.

If visitors would prefer not to use the app or do not have a smartphone, they can obtain a NHS COVID Pass letter (proving vaccination status only) by calling 119 or visiting the NHS website. Visitors with a medical exemption should advise a member of staff during the checking process.

OR

C) Proof of immunity shown by a positive PCR test result for COVID-19, lasting for 180 days from the date of the positive test and following completion of the self-isolation period.

If visitors would prefer not to use the app or do not have a smartphone, they can obtain a NHS COVID Pass letter (proving vaccination status only) by calling 119 or visiting the NHS website. Visitors with a medical exemption should advise a member of staff during the checking process.

In addition to the above, we have also introduced colour coded wrist bands, which are available on site to indicate personal comfortability with social distancing.

• Green – Indicates open to handshaking (no social distancing required)
• Yellow – Indicates Fist Bump / elbow bump (cautious approach needed)
• Red – Full social distancing measures preferred

In line with government advice, the wearing of face masks is advised within indoor event settings but is no longer a legal requirement in the United Kingdom.
This system is protected under the Netlaw Media Code of Conduct, and any person(s) onsite whom repeatedly or intentionally fails to adhere to a visitor wishes in relation to social distancing, will be asked to leave the venue.

To ensure the safety of all attendees on site the following steps will continued to be taken at Netlaw Media event venues;

• Key hand sanitizer station situated throughout the venue.
• increased ventilation throughout the venue
• Enhanced cleaning regimes practised throughout the venue and on the day of the event

In our efforts to maintain trust with all participants failure to comply with protocols will be deemed a breach of the Code of Conduct and will result in removal from the venue.
