Office modernisation at Ince & Co continues apace with Shanghai relocation

International law firm Ince & Co has announced today that its Shanghai office will be relocating to a brand-new office space on the 38th floor of the Sinar Mas Centre in Shanghai on 31 August, 2018. The Grade-A office tower, completed in 2017, is the tallest building located in Puxi side and reaches an impressive 320 metres in height. It is also located in the heart of the business district of Puxi and benefits from excellent access to transport links and intelligent and green technologies.

The relocation of Ince & Co’s Shanghai office follows that of the firm’s Singapore office in May 2018, its Le Havre office in 2017 and its Hong Kong and London offices in 2016. It is the latest example of the steps that Ince & Co is taking to modernise its international office network to enhance the working environment of its people and the service that it is able to offer to its clients.

As with the firm’s previous office moves, the new space offers enhanced client facilities and modern collaboration areas with open-plan surroundings. This provides more flexibility and greater opportunities for teamwork. The firm has also invested in new technologies, including Microsoft Surface Pro 4 tablets and the latest generation Wi-Fi with increased capacity and security, which will allow the office to move to an agile working arrangement.

Ince & Co established a steering committee from across its Shanghai office to work with its advisers to agree practical elements of the new office, including interior design and space planning.

Paul Ho, Managing Partner of Ince & Co’s Shanghai office, commented:

“We are one of the leading international law firms in Shanghai, so it is appropriate for us to move to the Sinar Mas Centre, which is located in the major shipping and finance centre in Shanghai. Our move also demonstrates a strong commitment to our core sectors and will enable us to provide better services to our clients in these sectors. Having seen the success of previous office moves across our network, we are all really excited to be moving to this new working environment, which will benefit both our people and our clients.”
