Tom O’Reilly, CTO EMEA – Hybrid Cloud, HCI & CI

Tom O’Reilly is a digital, oil & gas, and technology senior executive with almost two decades of experience across the US, Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Having spent most of his career as a customer in IT Operations Management, Tom joined what is now the Modern Datacenter team in Dell Technologies 5 years ago.

His drive and expertise has led to him to hold senior positions with global multinationals including Dell, EMC and the A.P. Moller-Maersk Group. Tom combines a unique blend of corporate, consulting and entrepreneurial experience.

Tom holds an MBA from INSEAD in Finance, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Business.

Currently, Tom is the Hybird Cloud, CI and HCI CTO for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, from where he helps Dell Technology’s clients embrace digital, hybrid cloud, converged and hyperconverged technologies. He is also focused on helping customers translate IT Transformation into Business Value and building compelling business cases to help Transformation Programs succeed.

A former collegiate ski racer, Tom loves traveling, and all types of winter sports. He currently lives in Copenhagen with his wife Elisabeth and their three daughters.
